Very cute and pleasant hotel, location wise it was pretty central to everything with short Uber. Parking valet available and staff was attentive at all times. Room itself was very nice, well lit, spacious and clean. Had all the typical amenities you would find in any hotel (ex. Hair dryer, mini fridge, coffee machine, safe, etc.). Bathroom is large and several mirrors for getting ready with plenty of towels and toiletries for use. Restaurant was okay, seemed to be out of a lot of things but decent breakfast. The decor in the lobby and in the hotel restaurant was chic and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay, and would rebook again especially given the location and price for the room.

We had a double room, because our friends were supposed to stay with us, but they didn't come. I was glad we did because we have stayed in the hotel before and the room was sooo small without a window in the room where the bed was and I almost asked for a different room because I am claustrophobic. So, I really enjoyed the double room with two windows and the extra space. Our favorite thing about the hotel is the terrace, we sometimes pick this hotel because of the terrace. The location is good too for parking with the garage being right next door. We had about a 0.7 to 0.8 mile walk to PPG Paints for a concert. Not a bad walk at all! We do really enjoy the hotel, just may always request a bigger room in the future.

This was our second time staying at this particular hotel. As with our first stay, this visit was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff is kind, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and close to all of the activities, which brought us to the city for the weekend. We will definitely stay at The Joinery in the future!

We booked this hotel because of its location. It was very convenient and close to areas we want to go and see downtown. This is walking distance to First Avenue train station that will take you to Acrisure Stadium to watch the Steelers game. The train ride is free. The hotel is also located beside a public parking place. There are so many restaurants nearby. The room is a tad smaller than the usual hotel room but it is very clean. They even gave us a complimentary Steelers terrible towel which we were not expected. Will be staying in this hotel again next time we are back in Pittsburgh.

AC was amazing, especially in summer heat. There was minifridge and coffe machine, even safe. Location of hotel was good, close to business conter, close enough to places and with restaurant right in hotel.

The room was super clean and everyone there was super nice and courteous! The layout of the hotel was amazing. The valet team were great when we needed to get our car. So helpful! It was colder than expected that week but did go up to the roof top lounge. The views were simply stunning!

The hotel was in a great location for us. It was easy to get to places for both walking and accessing the expressway. We loved the rooftop area since it allows you another location to relax and view the city.

Everything was very nice I especially liked the hostess at the front desk. He was very friendly,kind and very much answered every question we had and was able to assist in every way. The bathroom was the best part in the room we loved the aesthetic of the hotel from the time you walk in the hotel to the nice parking garage available around the corner. Everyone was helpful

Interior design, friendliness of staff, central location, some-what reasonable price (despite it being 'Move-In day at all the universities and all the parents coffing up all the less expensive rooms in Shadyside & East Liberty).
